STUDENT FEEDBACK
At the end of the year, I ask my students to anonymously evaluate my strengths along with any suggestions they have to help me improve my teaching. Here's what they had to say:

-
"Mr. Michael: thinking fast and talking smart."

-
"The lessons are always planned out very well, and we always have a set agenda and things we have to get to. For the most part, I really enjoy this class because the activities and projects that we do are very interesting and inspire me to think more, for example the personality types lesson. Also, he tries to keep us on task and doesn't take any nonsense."

-
"Thank you for a great year. I really enjoyed Media Literacy and Documentary Filmmaking with you! This class was one of the very best parts of my year (which there weren't very many of...). I am glad I got to be a part of this class, and hope it stays this good next year."

-
"Mr. Michael is able to teach in an efficient way and (like not many other teachers) he can trust his students to complete assignments and do them well."

-
"Mr. Michael is nice, helpful, and teaches one of my favorite classes (we need more Media Literacy!). I think his greatest strength as a teacher is his ability to connect with students (at least for me, I don't know about other kids), which makes it a great class in my experience."

-
"I think that Mr. Michael's greatest strength is his niceness, and his friendshipability-ness. What I mean by that is that you can become friends with him, and that improves your learning experience. And if you can make friends with him, that means he has a high level of friendshipability-ness."

-
"Mr. Michael is a very fun teacher. He is never really angry or frustrated and is welcoming as a teacher."

-
"I think that Mr. Michael's greatest strength as my teacher is his ability to communicate to the students in a way that makes (most of the time) them listen to him."

-
"Mr. Michael’s greatest strength is knowing when you need help and when you don't. He also wants kids to enjoy his class and have a good time."

-
"Mr. Michael is able to work with both difficult and not-so-difficult students and he doesn't let the difficult ones get in the way of his lesson plan for more than 2 minutes."

-
"Mr. Michael is good at entertaining us. No matter what in Media Literacy, I'm having a fun, and I always look forward to having the class."

-
"When he teaches and someone needs help he can really go into depth to help them, for example if someone was still confused on how to read a histogram he can really explain it well."

-
"He pays a lot of attention to each student's problems and concerns and makes sure to help them."

-
"He can connect with students well, and gets people excited about projects and units."
